First Team Building (Bolinao 2014)

Like what I have mentioned on my previous blog I will start posting my travel adventure after I stopped blogging.

This is my first year working on a BPO company. I am a Customer Care Agent on one of the telecommunication company in the United States. Yes! If you're from the USA, and you're carrier is the company that I worked for maybe we've already talked. haha!

Since we work on a graveyard shift, on weekends and during holidays. One of the most popular activity we do during our day-offs and after payday is to have a team building. This is a good way to bond with your teammates for you to know them better. Because on a call center environment change is constant. Meaning you may have different teammates after a few months.

This is my first call center job. Yes! I am a call center "VIRGIN" in layman's term. I am lucky as well because even I am a virgin in this industry I was hired on this line of business. Because the four major telecommunication company in the US is the hardest account in the BPO industry. To those who doesn't have a experience in the BPO industry the reason why telecommunication account is hard because there are more metrics that you need to maintain. We have customer survey to make sure we are providing the best customer experience. We have average handling time to maintain meaning we cannot talk to one customer for a long time we need to resolve the issue as fast as we can but we need to make sure that the quality is there. As customer care agent we also need to make sure that when we resolve the issue of the customer we need to make sure that there are no underlying issue that will make the customer to call us back within the next 7 days. Those are the 3 most important metrics but we have more and I don't want to really discuss all these things here. I just want to give you an overview why I became busy in this field and did not have time to blog for the past 3 years.

BOLINAO, PANGASINAN PH (SUMMER 2014)

Like what I have promised on my previous post I'll be sharing my summer getaway this 2014. I've also mention on my previous post that I have a new job. Well from regular day job I am now a call center agent and I am a customer care specialist of Sprint. It is one of the mobile network provider in United States along with T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T. And even though I am a new agent last April we already had our team building and we did that in Bolinao, Pangasinan. It's on the northern part of the Philippines. It's my first time to go there actually I've been in some places on thr northern part of Luzon but, I never been to Bolinao. But I hear good feedbacks from my friends who already went there. And since our team leader is from Bolinao he suggest the place because he promised us that there are cheap resorts and great beaches in Bolinao.

We stayed there for 2 days and 1 night. It was a 4 to 5 hours drive from Pampanga and if you're not familiar with the roads it may take a little bit longer. When we reached the resort it was already night time so we just ate our dinner it was the famous longaniza of Alaminos, Panngasinan, salted eggs, green mangoes and bagoong. After that since it was late already we can't swim on the beach so we just swim on the resort's pool.

In the morning of course we were so excited to go to the beach and catch the sunrise and luckily we were able to see the sunrise, we were able to take more photos and we also saw a group of fish and the fisherman caught them and because the water is just almost knee deep we were able to take a closer look and I was able to take photos of the small fishes.

TRAVEL: Discover Villa Cleofas

When it is raining, I misses Summer. I remembered my first Summer trip to Cagbalete, Quezon. We went to Villa Cleofas, a 1,640.4874-hectare property located east of Quezon Province (in Luzon, north of the Philippines). It is a private island owned by my sister's boss family. They opened the place to the public but, they only allow limited number of guest so that it wont be crowded and to preserve the virgin island.

Ilocos Norte, Philippines

Ilocos norte, Philippines is located on the northern part of Luzon. It has 22 cities and its capital is Laoag City.

MY DREAM

Someone told me to Pursue my dream of becoming a "Professional Photographer" and he's right! I should start making my dreams come true. I was encourage to become a pro in photography because my dad encourage me to pursue it and I am getting good feedbacks on my shots. I'll be posting some of my favorite shots here. All pictures are not Photoshop-ed and since I don't have a PRO camera the image quality is low. But my purpose of posting these pictures is if by chance someone will accidentally come across my blog he/she can comment if I really have the potential of becoming a PRO. your comments is highly appreciated. Thank you.
